Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great honour and pleasure to invite you to the upcoming European Headache Federation’s Headache Summer School 2016 (EHSS-2016), taking place in the historic medieval Tallinn, Estonia, on June 2nd-4th 2016 and hosted by the Estonian Headache Society.

Tallinn is situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, in north-western Estonia. Tallinn's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a major tourist attraction, which is easily explored on foot. During the days of the EHSS-2016 the annual celebrations called “Tallinn Old Town Days” will take place (June 1st-5th). Tallinn Old Town Days have been organized since 1982 and they signify the festivities for the Old Town to celebrate the beginning of summer. These celebrations fill yards, squares, streets, coffee shops and halls with music, art, theatre and variations of many bigger and smaller activities. Most of the events are free for visitors!

EHSS-2016 is an international event targeted to general practitioners with special interest in headache, general neurologists and internal medicine specialists, interested in modern headache-related concepts. The three day course includes world-class lectures which cover both common and rare type headaches as well as high-quality interactive case discussions. An update on diagnosis and management of headache disorders will be provided. EHSS-2016 is a great opportunity to seek collaboration with international colleagues and headache experts.

Participation in the EHSS-2016 is a subject to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education points and the recertification points of the Estonian Society of General Practitioners.

Use this opportunity to raise your knowledge about the leading complaint in humans – headache – to a higher level! I wish you a pleasant and memorable stay in Tallinn!
